GRI releases new tax standard – GRI 207: Tax 2019

The Tax Standard enables organizations to better understand and communicate information about their tax practices publicly. It is part of the GRI Standards and is the first global reporting standard that supports public disclosure of a company’s business activities and tax payments on a country-by-country basis. The new GRI Tax Standard was developed in line with GRI’s independent and multi-stakeholder due process. Over 250 stakeholder actively contributed to the development of the standard. This new Standard will help organizations around the world to communicate, understand and report on their sustainability impact.
